About His Company International His Company International is a dynamic dance and arts ministry devoted to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world. As demonstrated throughout the Scriptures, we believe that it is God's nature to be creative. After all, He is the Creator. We believe that He has placed artistic gifting within His people in order to show forth His glory and show forth His praise. His Company uses the gifts of dance, drama, music, art and mime to minister the love of Jesus to a lost and dying world. Our Purpose is: To bring praise and adoration to God through choreographed or spontaneous dance. To communicate the Good news of Jesus Christ to those who have not heard. To communicate the heart of God to His people. To teach the purposes and uses for the arts to the Body of Christ. In 1991, the Lord begain to birth a vision in Dawn Gilmer for His Company International. Dawn knew by the Spirit that she was not to hold auditions for dancers, but that the Lord would bring them. Bring them He did as Dawn and Annette Prince began to pray and ask the Lord to send dancers! For the past many years, the Lord has molded the hearts of these dancers together as they have ministered throughout the world. In recent years, the Lord has led some of the dancers into leadership positions in other areas throughout the Body of Christ. He now brings in new dancers who are being trained to take the gospel throughout the earth with the dance. His Company International rehearses at the Christian Dance Center, a local Houston dance training center, devoted to raising up skillfull dancers in the Body of Christ. Vision for His Company International Early in l992, the Lord birthed "His Company International". The Lord graciously began sending dancers from throughout the world to Houston to be a part of this work. Those that He sent were extremely skillful, however the Lord hand-picked them (I believe) because of their willing hearts to serve Him. An incredible bonding took place within the team and the Lord constantly ministered to us to keep unity in our midst no matter what. This unity would be one of our biggest strengths. "The company of believers is of one heart and soul…" We are called as a company to minister prophetic messages to the Body of Christ through the dance. The word dance in Ex. 15:20 is Macholah which means a dance company. We are called as an army to war against principalities, powers of darkness and rulers in high places; moving by the leading of the Holy Spirit. The word "company" in Psalm 68:11 means army. "The Lord gave His word and great was the company who proclaimed it." We are called to equip the saints of God throughout the earth in prophetic ministry as well as the ministry of dance for the use of praise, worship, evangelism, proclamation, prophecy… We are called to the nations. Psalm 2 states, "the nations are our inheritance." It is time that we the church take back what has been stolen. We are called to minister "liberty to the captives." We are constantly made aware that it is truly the anointing that breaks every yoke and yielding completely to His Spirit brings the greatest breakthroughs. Therefore, those in the company do not just dance; they express the heart of the Father to His people. They express the heart of the Father to the lost and they express their hearts to the Father. These expressions may come in various ways (ie. laying on of hands, singing prophetic songs as the Lord leads, and ministering in the dance (choreographed and spontaneously).
